Meet the Board

Secretary
Jamie Kuney
Jamie currently serves as secretary of the RDM Foundation. She would like to see the country find a way to welcome veterans back home and have peer support from day 1; “let’s create a mindset of being proactive; not reactive”.
Jamie is Ryan’s mom and his biggest fan in life! She enjoyed spending time with Ryan no matter if it was at one of his many sporting events, camping, going to the movies, watching sports on tv, attending Michigan games, attending MLB games, spending time in Ocean City MD, visiting him in one of the many trips to Vegas while he served in the Marines, or just hanging out talking about life.
Their phone calls and text messages while he was in the Marines and after he came home from the Marines were daily and priceless. His Saturday and Sunday morning coffee visits catching up on the week’s events were full of laughs, a few life lectures and big hugs! Ryan also introduced many wonderful people to his family throughout his life and they became a part of Jamie’s family. “The boys” will always
have a special place in her heart. Ryan’s ability to establish strong bonds with people came from his ability to care and love others while having fun!
Jamie is currently residing in Machesney Park IL with her husband Marc. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, Gabrielle Meitzler, her husband Peter and their son Jaxx. Jamie’s hobbies include hiking, reading, bowling, daily walks, and watching all college sports! (Just like Ryan).

President
Mary (Vogt) Lewis
Mary serves as President of the RDM Foundation. Her primary focus is working with Jamie (Ryan’s mother) on building a network to provide support to all veterans and their families transitioning back to civilian life. Our goal is to connect the veteran with the resources needed to be successful and thriving leaders in our community.
Mary and her family had the extreme pleasure of meeting Ryan and family when their children were young. Coop and Ryan were close friends; playing multiple sports together and Taylor Ann always considered Ryan her second big brother. Ryan was always there for everyone.
Ryan also spent countless hours with Mary and Rich at the American Legion – participating in their meat raffles, joining Mary on the video machines (even when we lost) and just hanging and catching up together.
Ryan will always hold a special place in the Vogt-Lewis family hearts. He's a true hero and we are all better for having him in our lives. God bless you RyGuy!

Board Member
Adrian Davies
Adrian Davies is a Marine Corps veteran who served with Corporal Ryan D. Masters. He has been on the board of directors of the RDM Foundation since its start, working to make a positive impact in the veteran community. His leadership skills, discipline and dedication have enabled him to drive meaningful change and improve the lives of those around him. Adrian continues to lead by example of selfless service and dedication to those in need.

Board Member
Clayton (Coop) Lewis
Clayton (Coop) Lewis is a dedicated board member of the RDM Foundation. Coop assists in organizing the annual RDM Classic, which raises funds to provide resources for veterans as they prepare to transition back into civilian life. His friendship with Ryan dates back to middle school, where their bond strengthened through their love of sports. In middle school, Coop and Ryan were ‘partners in crime’ on the football field by being the “bookends of the defense.”

Their bond strengthened throughout high school and at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Whether they were vacationing in Mexico, watching TV on the couch or drinking beers in the garage, they were always having a good time. Coop currently resides in Rockford, Illinois where he works as a physician assistant.

Board Member
Ryne Sadler
Ryne works as a Business Development Manager for Gartner where he targets innovative technology companies who want to sell to corporations. Previously, Ryne worked for Rosecrance Health Network where he headed all of crisis intervention for Stephenson County where he provided support and planned guidance to adolescents with suicidal ideations, depression, and self-harming behaviors.
Ryne is a former teammate of Ryan where they began at a young age playing baseball for the Desperados. Ryne was always a part of a confusing line up for baseball in Brian Ryne Ryan (Masters) Ryan (Curran). They stayed teammates, friends, and classmates for numerous years playing basketball at Hononegah High School.

Director
Brian King
Brian has had the honor of being on the RDM Foundation board since creation in 2021. Brian and Ryan met when they were in Elementary School and they were childhood best friends from that point forward.
Brian grew up playing football, basketball, baseball and running track with Ryan. As they grew older, these sporting events turned into hunting and fishing trips with Ryan’s dad, Marc, along with other close family friends.
Brian’s main duty and responsibility as part of the RDM Foundation is managing and executing the annual RDM Golf Classic. Through sponsorships, monetary donations, and day of event fundraising, the annual golf outing is an overwhelming success and raises money to benefit local veterans and suicide prevention awareness. Outside of the RDM Foundation, Brian and his wife Alison are raising a daughter in downtown Chicago where he works in M&A private equity consulting.

Board Member
Lucas Limberg
Lucas has served in an advisory role for the RDM Foundation since its inception in 2022. He enjoys helping with sponsorships and donations. Lucas was born and raised in the Rockford, Illinois area. He has been a police officer at a local department for the past 7 years and currently works as a K9 handler with his partner, Blitz.
Lucas first met Ryan back in 5th grade when Lucas transferred schools. Lucas and Ryan’s love of sports bonded them into a close-knit friend group that quickly became family. Although their friendship was put to the test every college football season during the annual Michigan v. Notre Dame rivalry game, it always came out stronger in the end (even with all those Michigan wins).
Lucas often sees the impacts of mental health crises like PTSD through his role in the community. He strongly believes in the necessary work this foundation is doing and the profound impact it makes on our community and veterans nationwide.
